January Newsletter

Dear Vendors,

What a year it has been.

As we wrap up the year, we want to take a moment to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together at the Emporium—and to thank you for the role each of you played in making it such a strong and successful year.

This year brought tremendous growth and many important improvements. We implemented a new POS system, completed a new roof, repaired the parking area, and added a loading dock gate to make moving inventory easier. We welcomed many new vendors, officially established a vendor waitlist, and participated in new city and downtown events that introduced the Emporium to new audiences. We were honored to be recognized with Best Overall Holiday Window Display and Best Antique Store (ROCO 2025)—both of which brought meaningful exposure and new customers through our doors.

Behind the scenes, we continued refining daily operations, improving merchandising standards, strengthening marketing efforts, and building brand awareness. Most importantly, we met countless new customers and saw sales grow by strong margins—growth that happened because of your inventory, your effort, and your commitment to keeping your booths fresh and well stocked.

Looking ahead to 2026, our focus remains on continued, intentional growth. We will be launching our website, introducing new events, and fine-tuning existing ones with a clear purpose: driving sales and bringing in our target customer. We also plan to address comfort and functionality by getting the air units fully operational and updating window units—improvements that matter not only for our customers, but especially for all of you who are here often, filling and refilling your booths.

Over the next month, we look forward to briefly visiting with each of you to go over lease renewals and to set some goals together for the new year. These conversations help us ensure we are aligned and continuing to grow in a way that benefits everyone.

Above all, we want you to know how grateful we are. The Emporium’s success this year was driven by you—your time, your creativity, your consistency, and your belief in what we are building together. Thank you for being such an important part of this year and for helping make the Emporium what it is today.

We are excited for what’s ahead and thankful to be heading into the new year with such a strong vendor community.

With sincere appreciation,

Kate and John
